Hilo Tropical Gardens Guest House offers Private rooms for travelers from $55.00/$65.00 per night. Also available are co-ed dorm beds $25, a female-only dorm $25, semi-private dorms $35 to $45, and camp sites starting at $15.00 per night. HTG Guest House promotes a peaceful experience in a quiet, tranquil 2 acre historical garden setting and is right on the 4 mile beach road of Kalanianole Avenue. Don't have a car? Beaches are within 1/4 mile walking distance and the Haleon Bus stops right in front of the adjacent convenience store & Hilo Homemade Ice Cream parlor. Downtown Hilo is 5 minutes away where there are numerous historical sites, the Wednesday Farmers Market and many, many restaurants--our staff will share information on all our favorite places to eat and visit! Guest must have valid ID. Guests share a kitchen, BBQ area, common area, restrooms and showers. We rent bikes and snorkel gear. Quite time is respected & enforced to ensure a peaceful stay. The manager and owner are on site and we are happy to assist you with information regarding your Big Island activities.
